This book is beyond helpful when it comes to dealing with surgery. I used it for both my cataract surgeries and felt so supported that someone was out there helping me in ways that doctors overlook. If you're scheduled for surgery, give yourself plenty of time to set up a great platform for your healing both before, during and after...which this book helps you master. If you have had to have emergency surgery (or someone you know), then this book can help you deal with all the trauma. Better yet, it can help you support a love one as they go through surgery. A must have on your bookshelf!

A friend heard I was scheduled to have a hip replaced and gave me your book. It’s brilliant!!! It not only answered all my questions, it gave me fantastic suggestions and recommendations that helped me through the process of getting ready and preparing for the surgery. It's everything the doctors didn't tell me! I had so many questions about healing, therapy, diet, etc. after the surgery and this book answers everything. Both the table of contents and index are so detailed I could easily look up anything I needed help with. This book should be on everyone’s book shelf.
